Aya, thank you very much for your comments! I know that Kim wants to take her appearance on TVOG as far as she can. As I said in the blog; regardless of what happens, she’s already won. I’m just happy she’s been able to come so far, given the circumstances.

Dear Charles,
thanks for sharing some of your memories and thoughts. Kim is definitively one of the positive discoveries of The Voice, as you are too and Mic and a few others. Without The Voice, I would not have heard about you and your music and I would not have bought your CD´s and that would have been a pity, as I enjoy your music very much and more each time I listen to it. I would love to see you live on stage.

So, although I do understand your points of view and I do agree to most of them, especially, that The Voice seems not to be about finding the best Voice of Germany, but the one who gets the most calls, maybe the concept of the show is not so bad, because we, as an audience , get to know so many good musicians, a lot of us have never heard of before. I do understand that you would have loved to win the contest and who would not. But in fact, it really makes no sense to “battle” in music, or does it? Once a certain level of quality is reached, why should I decide who is better, when I love all of the performances. As you said in one of your blog entries, most of all, “The Voice” is about TV business and initiating calls, to earn money. On the other hand, the excitement makes us tune in again every week, even the questionnable decisions . (Rea – you and Percival, Xavier – Rüdiger and Mic, Nena – Behnam) Oh, how we want to be manipulated. A show without all the hype, would not be as successful. And so you had to take the good with the bad to make your voice heard.

I doubt Kim will win and maybe she even should not want to, although she would deserve it. If I understand the hidden agenda right, Kim is the last, alibi professional in the show, it will be one of the youngsters, much more formable, easier to handle and only short lasting. The next show is about to come.

Feeling my emotions, telling my emotions, sharing my emotionst, that`s what i have learned again by posting to you, even when you are a Stranger in the Net. And by also going to these feeling, and telling to my Friends now it enriches my “real” live, too.
What you do to your Sister Kim enriches both of you too. And that is great.

Ich finde es wunderbar von dir, dass du deine Sis so unterstützt!
Und sie wird ganz bestimmt sehr gerührt sein, wenn sie liest, wie du über sie schreibst.
Hoffentlich hat sie ein Taschentuch zur Hand
Das Schicksal hat wirklich etwas richtig gemacht, als es euch zusammen-gebracht hat. Und hoffentlich wird es ihr nächste Woche wiederum Glück bringen- sie hat es auf jeden Fall verdient.
Für Menschen, wie mich, die sie nur übers Fernsehen kennen, kommt Kim in
ihrem Auftreten sehr liebenswert und authentisch herüber. Sie ist diejenige Finalistin, die das Ding ernsthaft und voll entschlossen gewinnen will, ohne dabei verbissen zu wirken.
Der Titel, den sie gewinnen wird, sollte ergänzt werden um
“The warmest and breathtaking feminine Voice of Germany”
