Although I’ve always been a physically active person due to the nature of my job, The importance of physical fitness has become more apparent to me as I get older. To me, fitness is more than just the act of working out; it is truly a lifestyle choice.
It’s even more relevant considering the nature of my profession; the constant traveling, long hours on stage, frequent downtime and irregular schedule require a certain amount of stamina. Fitness helps me stay sharp, keeps my mind focussed, and my mood positive. Being fit and healthy is a central theme of my life.
I’ve made it my mission help my fellow musicians and others lead healthier, more active lives.
I am a certified personal trainer, having received my qualifications at the well-respected Safs & Beta Bildungsakademie in Germany, and the prestigious National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in the USA. I’m well aware of the struggles most people have regarding weight and body image, having been overweight most of my life. I’ve always been a somewhat of a fitness junkie, but I really got into personal fitness when I turned 40, having made the decision to improve my health and learn more about nutrition and exercise science.
As a professional musician, entertainer and coach, being physically fit is an important part of my job, so over the years I’ve developed the skills necessary to help people get results. As a trainer, I want to share that knowledge and enthusiasm for fitness with as many people as possible.

Interested in bodyweight training, boot camp-style, or more traditional weight training? Enjoy running, power walking, or other types of outdoor training? Whatever your preference, I got you covered.
Coaching & Partner Training
Workouts are most effective if they are done with a positive mental attitude, and it’s my job to motivate you to push yourself in a fun, safe way. My workouts are designed to challenge you, not to kill you, and I would never give you a workout that I won’t do myself. I will not only train you, I will train with you.
How you eat is just as important as how you train. From general nutrition advice to individual meal plans, I will help make sure that your body is properly fueled.
As your personal trainer, it’s my job to inform and motivate you on every step of your fitness journey. I provide assistance and advice via email, telephone and video chat.
Do you offer personal training online?
Yes! Online personal training is an efficient, cost effective way to help people interested in getting in shape. While not as intimate as an in-person PT session, it can be just as exciting and useful. The major advantage is that, compared to the current online fitness portal trends, I can personally guide and motivate you, and correct form mistakes, ensuring that the exercise are done properly and SAFELY, thus preventing injury.
Does online fitness training really work? I can’t imagine that it’s very effective…
In my experience, personal training via the Web works very well and has many practical advantages. I conduct all sessions via Skype (Mac/PC) or FaceTime (Mac only, included with Mac OSX), which is better than simply posting workout routines on YouTube, because I can see if you’re doing the exercises properly, in real time. All you need is a webcam and a fast Internet connection (IMPORTANT: you need at least a fast DSL 16000 or cable connection for a dropout-free video chat session).
How much does a training session cost?
The prices for a personal training session depends on which session length you choose. You have the option of training with me once a month (minimum) every two weeks (recommended) or weekly (highly recommended). Session times are coordinated individually to fit your time zone and schedule (and mine). Sessions are conducted in English or German.
How do I pay for a training session?
All sessions are billed via bank transfer, cash or PayPal. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can easily register for one when you sign up for a session.
How do I schedule a training session?
Very easily! Just fill out the Personal Training Sign-up Form. It’s available in English and German. It’s very important that you fill out the Sign-up Form as completely as possible; the more advance info I have about you, the faster we can get started!
